Personalized and State-of-the-Art Care with Traditional Values

Pediatric and Adolescent Urology Institute provides a unique, comprehensive and personalized experience for both the patients and parents. The Institute provides state-of-the-art care while treating patients and parents with traditional values. Unlike large medical institutions, you are not treated as a number, but rather as an individual with distinct needs. Dr. Jeffrey Palmer established Pediatric and Adolescent Urology Institute to provide this personalized care with traditional values.

The moment that you pick-up the telephone, you will notice the difference. One convenient telephone number (216-292-2111) allows you to make an appointment at any of our several community offices, schedule an in-office test, renew a prescription, or speak directly to Dr. Palmer. You will not be redirected multiple times to multiple individuals – your time is too valuable!

Our schedulers will accommodate your schedule and not ours. Early morning, evening and weekend appointments are available. Also, same-day visits are available for urgent and non-urgent conditions. We have several community offices and surgical facilities in order to simplify a parent’s access to pediatric urologic care. Dr. Palmer believes that it is easier for him to travel 50 miles to see patients than for patients to travel 50 miles to see him.

Office Visit

The day of your visit, you will talk to and your child will be examined by Dr. Palmer and not by a medical student, resident or other doctor-in-training. This provides consistent high-level and efficient evaluation and care.

Unlike other medical institutions whose doctors and staff are busy typing into a computer rather than looking you in the eye during the office visit, we believe that this impersonal. Pediatric and Adolescent Urology Institute has state-of-the-art electronic medical records (EMR), but we believe in the traditional patient-doctor relationship and give our patients and their parents our entire undivided attention. Our philosophy is that typing in a computer can be done on our time and not your time – your time is too valuable!

After-Hour Access

Dr. Palmer believes that no one knows his patients better than him. After-hour calls are not handled by a nurse or a doctor-in-training. Dr. Palmer personally answers after-hour parent and physician telephone calls, thereby providing personalized care for your child.

Patients of All Ages

Unlike other pediatric urologists, there are no patient age cut-off. Dr. Palmer provides a comprehen-sive experience for prenatal evaluation, children, adolescents and adults

Dr. Palmer sees children and adolescents of all ages, including young adults who are still under the care of their pediatrician. This allows patients to maintain a continuity of care until adulthood.

Dr. Palmer is also referred older adults with pediatric-based conditions that continue to be problems into adulthood. These conditions include hypospadias, hidden penis, labial asymmetry and other congenital and acquired penile and vaginal issues.

International and Out-of-Town Visits

A large number of patients that Dr. Palmer evaluates and treats are international or live out of state. Pediatric and Adolescent Urology Institute is dedicated to ensuring that patients and families have a positive and seamless experience. To assist in the travel process, international and out-of-state patients are assigned a concierge.

NO Facility Fee

A facility fee is used by many Ohio medical institutions to collect additional money from patients for an office visit and office procedure. This required fee is in addition to co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles. The fee is for the use of the office space and procedure room, and is usually not paid for by health insurance companies. The fee may be more expensive than the office visit charge!

Pediatric & Adolescent Urology Institute DOES NOT support this practice and DOES NOT charge a facility fee for office visits or office procedures. You pay enough for your health care!!!
